Prince Inusa Momoh was born in 1921 and attended Government school, Auchi where he passed out with first school leaving certificate. He later joined the Nigeria Police force during the colonial era.
He rose through the ranks to the position of Chief Superintendent of Police and retired in 1977 after serving for 34 years. While in service he attended Wakefield Detective College in Great Britain. He was at various times the Provincial Police Officer in charge of Kabba and Idah provinces stationed in Lokoja and Idah respectively. He was a member of the Kwara state Armed Robbery and Fire Arms Tribunal when Late Brigadier General David Bamigboye was Military Governor.
On retirement he was appointed a Councillor for Etsako West Local Government Area when late Vice Admiral Husseini Abdullahi was Governor of old Bendel state. He was the Traditional Prime Minister of Auchi when HRH Otaru Ahmed Guruza Momoh reigned reigned Otaru of Auchi. He was also President of Rotary Club of Auchi Chapter.
